AWJ have been fabricating balustrades from the 1940’s working on some major contracts alongside some of the country’s most well-known Architects and Building Contractors.
Unique Designs
All our balustrades are unique and designed to suit each individual project. We take an Architects initial proposal and develop that proposal into a design that will work structurally to satisfy loading requirement.
Materials & Finishes
Materials including mild steel, stainless steel, bronze, brass, and aluminium.
AWJ can meet various requirements for finishing including powder coating , painting , nylon coating , galvanised , as well as blackening and anodising. We have also carried out various projects with a leather clad handrail.
Timber Handrail Options
We work alongside a specialist joinery company who can offer timber handrails with lacquered finish to many shapes and sizes.
Incorporate Glass
Glass is another material we can incorporate into your design including structural free-standing glass or infill glass supported from post.
Decorative Touches
As well as glass infills, designs can incorporate vertical bars set at regulation gaps, decorative cast or forged infills along with perforated infills which can be from standard patterns or produced bespoke.
